Aurora often speaks about a mysterious daughter and says to be frightened of her African housekeeper Santa's voodoo rituals. Following a serious physical and mental decline Aurora gets recovered and asks to see Gian Luca Ventura. Pilar manages to find the man in a nursing home but Aurora dies before seeing him. But Ventura has an African story to tell: he and Aurora were lovers fifty years ago.
