Some works by Stella Battaglia and Gianni Miglietta will be exhibited on the portrait theme interpreted in contemporary key. The busts have been appropriately modelled so that the photography projection can hold onto it as “a skin”. An encounter between photography and sculpture, a sculpture coated with light and colours where the old tradition of prospective projection gets revisited through the modern technology of video installations.

Exhibition-event Scientia ad Artem II – From the flood in Florence to the European Research Projects: Formation of Diagnosticians and Scientific Experts as a Connection between Science and Cultural heritage Conservation will take place in the Sala delle Colonne at the Murate, in Piazza delle Murate in Florence on Saturday, 11th May (2.30 p.m. - 7 p.m.) and Sunday, 12th May (9 a.m. - 7 p.m.).
Florence Europe Direct of the Florence Council, Florence University of Studies, Association of Journalists in Tuscany and YouNet Asociation are organising a public meeting dedicated to the European communication. Local journalists working in the printed paper and radio-television sectors, bloggers, communication experts and university professors will all be gathered.
Greening USiena is a student network established in November 2012 and a partner of the World Student Environmental Network that specializes, from an interdisciplinary perspective, in ecology, biodiversity protection and viability at the Siena University of Studies. Through actions of student members and a collaboration of professors, researchers, technical and administrative staff and other institutions and organisations of the territory, it wants to influence the debate on the viability themes on international level and at the same time have a concrete impact on the university community.
